Busy in Tokyo

Tokyo has been mentioned in multiple modern songs because of their amazing city life. I headed over these places while I was in Tokyo and I guarantee an eye opening journey as you set on a #TokyoDrift. 1. Harajuku, to fully comprehend Japanese Youth
This by far has been my favourite place in Tokyo, Harajuku lives for the word "Kawaii".
Takeshita Street treasures story-lined Manga billboards to extremely fashionable teens that has the power to make you feel under dressed. If you consider changing your sense of style, enter the endless strip of affordable apparel and accessories from punk rock knee high socks to even owning a neon onesie to match your pastel dyed hair.
Like the street itself, it's as colourful as their food, They have a palette for Instagram worthy giant rainbow cotton candy, crepes, ice cream, coffee and multiple animal cafe's that will make you have the urge to adopt these cuties.
In contrast to the lively side of Harajuku, do not miss out on the famous Meiji Shrine. Encounter aesthetically pleasing barrels of sake and even write wishes on a tiny wooden board or enveloped letters that will be prayed over.

Places I went to:
Attractions: Meiji Shrine, Takeshita Street, Purikura Shop (get sticky pics!)
Food/Cafes: Owl Cafe & Bar Owl Village, Maison Crepes (get a crepe or cotton candy), Kawaii Monster Cafe
Shopping: Wego, Spinns, Asako, Anywhere around the Takeshita street tbh, there is so much!
2. Asakusa, to feel absolute Zen
This is a place where you can disconnect from modern Tokyo society and ride a Rickshaw to explore the retained traditional Japanese culture. There are multiple Kimono rentals along the area, but I suggest booking one beforehand to rent for a cheaper price. In all honesty, this is one of the places that seemed appropriate to wear a Kimono or a Yukata to match Tokyo's oldest temples, Sensoji Temple. They have more traditional things to do as compared to the Meiji Shrine such finding out your fortune, burning bad luck , making wishes , praying over ancestors and praying wishes to be fulfilled
You can also get yourself a handful of lucky charms, tea sets, traditional clothing apparel, Japanese kid games and Japanese snacks for yourself or as souvenirs along the Nakamise Street. Other than buying these goods, you can also enjoy trying out their never failing surprises of Sakura bean paste mochi or fish cakes that you can grasp before you continue walking around Asakusa.

Shopping: Nakamisme Street
Food: any Streetfood selling
3. Akihabra, to fulfil your anime fantasies
Akihabara is how you would visualise Japan from your favourite Anime Series. one word. Electronic. Other than being known for their hi-tech nik-naks and exceptionally time draining arcades and claw machines, Akhibara shows pure devotion to their beloved manga and anime . From Japanese kinks, Sailor Moon posters and special edition Pokemon cards or Anime Merchandise. This is a heaven for all Japenese lovers and gamers savvy's out there.
You have not fully relived a Japanese Experience not until you have entered a Maid Cafe. Maids wear French Style clothing and serve cafe treats with strawberry sauce drizzled in a shape of a cat. This experience allowed me to channel my inner Kawaii and possibly speak a couple of cute words to help me lure some guys into my life.

4. Shinjuku, to party with Godzilla Shinjuku is those places that look better at night, with structured neon lighting and headlights with barely any English words in them you'll realise that you are in Japan . Like the Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong, their party life welcomes you with open arms. If you're hungry head along "piss alley" to eat in a yakitori or ramen restaurant and leave without any disappointments, for shots of sake head over to Golden Gai.

Places I Went:

Shopping: Biqlo, Don Quitoje, Daiso
Food: "Piss Alley", for drinking go to "Golden Gai"
5. Shibuya, to get with the "Tourist-Must-Goes"
Like most places that people tend to overhyped, this was one of them. We spent around
15 -20 minutes getting a perfect shot at the hectic "Shibuya Scrabble Crossing" and saw the statue of Kachiko (highly recommend to do if you ever go there!). It is bit similar to the buildings in Shinjuku, just with the obvious Western influenced shops like Forever 21, if you're down for that, then is the place for you. I recommend this place if you wish to strip away from the cultural side of Tokyo or just to say that you've been there and seen it, #getwiththehype
